Brutal Beginner (Open)

As he walks through this mysterious city, not knowing where to go or even where he is currently at, Sangoran wanders around hoping to find somewhere to eat and drink. "So...hungry..." He hears his stomach growl and places his hand on it. He proceeds to walk down a street and comes across a mini-mart. With drool pouring down his mouth, he sets down his book and feels around his pockets for his wallet. "Where are you, you son of a-" He feels his wallet in his front left pocket and pulls it out. "Gotcha! NOW, TO THE CUPPED RAMEN!" With a smile on his face he walks into the store and walks out two minutes later with a bag full of cupped ramen and one boiling hot cup in his hand. The wind picks up and blows past him, fluttering his black jacket and his long blue hair. He stares up into the sky and notices the cloudless night sky. Sangoran then decides to walk toward the park to sit down and enjoy his ramen.

Azmot watched over the city, cloaked by the shadows that the moon cast during even the brightest of nights. Kami had told him to look out for any mysterious arrivals, and even though the job was usually a waste of time, he had to at least do it diligently. This night, however, was different; Azmot felt a certain air.

As the person that Azmot did not even know, named "Sangoran", moved toward the park, Azmot flew overhead, covered by shadows the buildings cast. Like a nimble predator, the angel followed in secret, gliding and moving along so that he wasn't heard, either.

As the man sat at the bench, Azmot watched silently, reviewing his actions. It was clear that their was something different about Sangoran, not to doubt, but Azmot wasn't sure. It was very peculiar, the presence he gave off. Azmot had never felt anything like it, but he wanted to assure himself that something was amiss.

Too see how the figure would re-act, Azmot used his Alchemy by outstretching his hand, transmuting the ground underneath the bench into simulate a rising pillar of earth, taking the surrounding ground and combining it to make it more dense, as well as make it shoot skyward. The earth around the rising pillar sank as it got taller, but it would only rise to 6 feet high.

Anybody with a supernatural sense would be able to know the attack was coming; Azmot coated the attack with a dense layer of Sourpowa, even an infant could see the attack.

As Sangoran sat on the bench enjoying the ramen, he felt a chill down his spine. One of which he felt before. "I know this feeling.. should I move? He thought to himself. He looks around and suddenly feels the earth shaking below him. A pillar shoots up from the ground and sends Sangoran into the air. Caught offguard, Sangoran failed to keep his balance, and in falling off the rising pilar, hits his head on the ground below. Owwwww! That really hurt! Sangoran suddenly sees his cup of ramen hit the ground and spill onto the ground. NOOOOO!!! I wanted to finish that ramen! Someones goin to pay for that. He stands up and begins brushing the dirt off of his coat and hair and starts looking around and sees nothing. Hmmm.... What the hell is wrong with this city? Ugh..oh well I guess it would just be easier to try to make another ramen..... somehow. Sangoran walks over and picks up his bag of ramen and tosses it aside. He reaches into the back of his jacket and pulls out a folded up scythe and unfolds it. He then takes his stance, placing his right foot foward, his left hand on the bottom of the snath and his right hand on the top of the snath, with the blade facing away from him. He begins to look around carefully and remaining vigilant.

Azmot flew over the man, shadows still in-casing his every action.

Hm... Ok. Time for another little, well, trick. Azmot thought, bringing his hand up in a fist. His Glove of Alchemy was on, and he planned on sparking some fire. Bringing up his right hand, Azmot un-clenched his left; he brought them together, rubbing furiously as if he was desperate for heat. After a couple seconds of Hardcore rubbing, a man made of blue fire appeared, two inches shorter than Azmot, as well as an unnaturally slim stomach. This body harvested no organs, it was simply an extreme control of the Fires of Creation.

It came out in front of Azmot, the blinding light hiding him from detection still. At high speeds, the fire-man moved through the air, right in front of the new arrival.

The creature said nothing, simply waving a burning hand towards the mystery man's face. This attack could be avoided if one had a good sense of depth; all it took was an acute duck. This creature was not only intangible, but Azmot had the ability to manipulate it completely, to solidifying it by compressing and shrinking it, or to change it's shape. All the same, it was just fire. He could even separate it and smother the man, but that was not the objective. Azmot wanted to test the man, to see what he had in him.

As Sangoran remained vigilant, a mysterious man appeared infront of him, waving its hand across his face. "What the hell is with this guy? As if this town couldn't get any weirder." He thought to himself as he began stepping back. Sangoran takes 4 steps back to gain distance from the man. He carefully scans over the man and notices nothing out of the ordinary. Hey buddy. ya got a name?" He asks as he begins to drop his stance. The man gives no answer. What, no answer? Not very nice to do to someone you don't know. eh? Sangoran then places his scythe in his left hand and turns around. "Well if your not going to say or DO anything, I'm going to go get some hot water somewhere. He begins to start walking away from the silent man.

The flame creature watched as the man stepped back, and Azmot willed another action. With a force, the Man of Fire flew towards the mystery man, it's body becoming a blur. When it got close enough, arms distance, the man of fire changed shape; it was now that of a large mouth. The jaws on this creature extended outwards, opening it gargantuan mouth to swallow Sangoran whole.

This attack was faster than the pillar, and Azmot intended to leave him with burns. It was not a death threat that he wished on this man, definitely not. Azmot wanted to see this mans power, and so he would.

Normally, no weapon could touch this figment of fire, they would have to get to Azmot first, but this situation was an exception; unbeknownst to Azmot himself, the scythe was not only a Soursodo, but it also had the ability to drain Sourpowa from what it touched. In a sense, everything had a potential of Sourpowa, even fire, but Azmot's was even more infused to keep it bonded. This would allow Sangoran to "Unbind" the creature by striking it several times; cutting it's ties with Azmot and making it a natural fire. Trully, it was a marvelous coincidence for the young hybrid, but it was likely that neither of them new the wheels Fate was turning...

As Sangoran began walking away he began sensing a power shifting, but since being in this strange town and the occurances of tonight, he shrugged it off as if there was nothing to worry about. Sangoran suddenly feels a sudden rush of, what he didn't know was, sourupowa behind him and quicky begins to drop to the ground. As he is falling, his scythe slips out from under his jacket and he feels an intense burning sensation on his left leg as he hits the ground. The scythe scraps against the rushing force as it falls to the earth. Sangoran then looks up to see a big mouth flying past him. He then looks at his leg and notices his entire calf and kneecap had been burned. Sangoran sits up and reaches for his scythe and unfolds it and, as he sits on the ground unable to stand, begins questioning his next move. "Shit! What the hell is this thing and how did it burn my leg!? What do I do? DAMMIT, WHAT DO I DO!?!?"

The fire creature split apart into 10 flames in response to this action. These flames were only about half a foot wide, but the sheer numbers might put the fear of god into the one opposing them. They cautiosly got closer until they were within Sangoran's arm distance. Then, the embers encircled him, spinning faster and faster by each quaking second until it became a quite literal "Ring of Fire." It got smaller and smaller as it's speed increased as well, forcing the man to make an action. Of course, these burns would merely injure, not kill.

Azmot was evaluating the man, testing his reaction time, speed, strength, and most importantly, courage. Azmot had never felt Sourpowa like this, and he wanted to test it's limits more than anything...

(Sang, I just realized the insane amount of Ryo you have... Use it :D)

Ryu walked throughout the strange city meditating in thought while slowly nursing his drink. He had descended from heaven this morning to assist another angel with the task of escorting a lost soul to the judgement plains. Afterwards he concealed his wings and continued his day disguised as a human so as to enjoy his brief time in the word of the living. The walk was normal, the same as always until he approached a public park. He suddenly felt crushed by the unexpected amount of Sourpowa being released in the immediate area. He was quickly able to shake it off and regain his senses.

Woah that was definitely an unexpected development. That power it's huge, but definitely not evil. The aura around it seems similar to mine, must be an angel. Wait I can sense another one too, but it's different, hard to classify. Better check it out.

Ryu unfurled his wings and began to glide. As he approached the park he saw an enflamed spector giving chase to a human. Seeing this angered him, so in response he gripped his weapon, and dashed in.

Giddion Walks the Plains of an Old Battlefield. Bodies of fallen warriors and the banners of their Warrior Kings lie next to them. He gazes at each broken body, Each tattered piece of armor, Each Bloodied Blade. Giddion's face, now filled with Excitement keeps walking down this path. A short way down this path, The Banner of The infamous "One eyed Dragon of Oshu" Caught Giddion's attention. He Picks up pace and runs behind the small troop of 5 solders. The solders then catch whiff of the stranger who is following him. They act as they were normally and continue walking. Giddion Walks faster and gets ahead of the troop. He stops about 20 Feet in front of them and stops. As soon as Giddion stops, They stop.

"Who dares stand in the way of us?!" Giddion does Not answer. He turns around and looks at the five foot solders. He then slowly speaks

"You five... Who is your leader... what is his name...?" the leader of the group then says:

"You have never heard of us? Masamune's Elite strike force?" Giddion looks up to the solders.

Thats all I need to hear!!!!!!" Giddion Draws His Blade. He slowly begins to walk over to the solders. They draw their Blades and await their orders.

"alright Boys!!! Lets show this kid what Masamune's elites can do!!!" They then rush at Giddion, all from a different angle. The closest attempts to make contact with Giddion. at that time He ducks down to avoid the swing, and with one swipe of his blade, Knocks the armor clean off of the one solder and he falls back. Two others Then attempt to perform a pincer attack. Giddion barely Notices it, and Tilts his head back, Only seconds before the 2 Blades Impact on one another. They Flinch to dodge each other's shot. within that moment, Giddion slices through one's stomach. He removes the blade and swings at the other solder, who was quick enough to block it. Giddion Then takes the other sword from its Hilt, and Knocks the solders sword away, and Decapitates the solder with the other. Giddion Looks over to the last two solders. What he sees is them running the opposite way. Giddion swipes the air, to clean the Blood from His one blade. The other has absorbed the blood along with the souls of the 2 slain solders. The one who was knocked back seems to have snuck away within the bushes. As giddion begins down the path Once again, Oda Speaks To Giddion Telepathically

"Giddion. I have a how you say "Mission" for you. I shall Tell you where to go." Giddion receives the details and continues down His path.

As Sangoran remained motionless in fear the flames suddenly scattered out and began spinning around, gaining speed and closing in fast. He then began to lean back and felt the scythe in his lap and realized.

Oh yeah! I still have my scythe! Maybe I can try to swing my way outta this!

He thought to himself. He takes the scythe and swings. The swing cuts a hole in the swirling flames. Without a second thought, or even a first thought for that matter, Sangoran's body reacts and leaps out of the hole of the flames.

[i]W-what the hell just happened? Where the hell are the flame haze when you need em? Ugh, oh well, guess I better treat this burn quickly.

Sangoran sits up and looks around to see if anyone was nearby that could help. Hello? Anyone nearby wanna call an ambulance for a poor guy with a burned left leg?

Azmot was surprised at the new presence, if not a bit shaken. Another Angel? He would have to be sure to keep his Sourpowa Hidden. Still, Azmot could only wonder why another Angel was here, much less by this specimen of interest.

Looking over, Azmot realized that this Angel had wings; this was not very common for non-arch angels. However, though it was pretty clear this Angel was nowhere close to an Arch-Angel, it was still a bit of a mystery as to how his soul attained wings.

Let's see... I know. Azmot thought, the words ringing within his mind.

He started to move his hands ceremonially, still in the shadows, very similar to Tai-Chi. He moved his left arm to the right and the right arm to the left, crossing his arms slowly. Once his arms were crossed to their maximum extent, Azmot moved his arms inward, so that his Fingers would catch against the opposite palm, where he would but the "Balled" hands at his hip. (Think Kamehameha Wave)

He Thrust his arms forward, hands opposite so that they resembled an open jaw. The Ground beneath Azmot, far below him, started to buckle, a fissure starting to appear. Azmot had used a calming technique to focus his Alchemy at the ground, shifting the ground into a lower point and a more dense mass to cause it to collapse on itself.

This fissure would start a low level earthquake, most likely, due to the fact that they were on top of a huge fault line already. This was another test, of course. How would one react to a non-demon threat?

Ryu continues his flight pattern towards the strange human when he notices the apparition that was pursuing him had disappeared. This faltered him for a moment as he had to take a second glance. He could barely see the outline of what appeared to be a scythe.

How could he have cut through that being with a normal scythe, unless....no it can't be. Whatever, or whoever was attacking him must have stopped. I can't let these things distract me, there is definitely something weird going on here, and I don't thing Kami would appreciate it if I sat idly by, Ryu thought.

Ryu was then determined to investigate more, he started to survey the area when He started to notice a flux of sourupowa in the surrounding area. He had originally ruled out the other angel in the area as a possibility, but now he had to make sure. as he approached the source of the flux something clicked. The ground was being disturbed by the force of that he was sure. He had to react and fast. All of the sudden the force was multiplied and released, sending what seemed to be a shockwave of energy through not only Ryu, but the ground.

CRAP I GOTTA GO, Ryu exclaimed to himself.

Ryu dashes towards the strange human in a frenzied attack to rescue him. Getting closer, and closer Ryu extended his reach, and attempted to pick him up.

As Sangoran lied on the ground, unbenounced to the pain in his leg, he tries stand up on his own. He slowly steadies his body, trying not to cause any unwanted pain in his leg. As he stands he sighs in relief that now he can take it easy and get his leg treated properly. A quake begins to shake the area around Sangoran and he falls down and he lands on his left leg. The shooting pain keeps him rom attempting to stand up to run. Just as he grabs his scythe to prepare for a possible enemy, he spots an angel flying down toward him with his hand stretched toward him.

Oh hell no. Not this shit again!

He thought to himself. The quake then begins to shake harder and faster.

Ugh, it semms I don't necessarily have any other choice, do I. I guess I can make an exception for this once. But only for my ramen's sake.

He hesitantly extends his hand out torward the angel, while gripping onto his scythe, prepared for any confrontation that may occur.

A movement that Azmot couldn't even see clearly zipped past him at a blur, causing the Angel to disappear for a moment. As it turned out, an Angel had taken Sangoran about 20 feet away for safety.

Slightly jarred by the sheer speed of the Angel, Azmot tensed. He had heard of the Speedster Angel through one of his files, but he couldn't place a name. For a moment, he was dumbstruck. He had no idea what to do whatsoever.

Then, another idea popped into his head. Releasing very quit clouds from his body, Azmot slowly created a giant cloud above the two, about 30 feet above, who were probably too caught up in each other to notice. Once the Cloud was a Diameter of 40 feet and a Height of 12, Azmot put his hand up and used his Alchemy once more. He condensed the clouds into Solid Ice, which divided all of it's Dimensions by four.

Now, a 10 Foot wide, 3 foot thick block of Ice Quickly fell towards the duo, increasing in speed by the second. Probably the final test before he decided to confront the two in an actual fight.

Ryu set the human down, preparing to defend him from any oncoming assault (as is his nature). It was only after he set him down that he noticed the block of ice forming above their heads.

"You've got to be kidding me! Stay still I got this", Ryu said.

Ryu grasped the hilt of his sword and disappeared, leaving the strange human in shock as he had never seen anything of this sort before. The ice block faltered slightly as the blur of an angel slashed vigorously at it's surface. Ryu re-materialized by the human and spread his wings over him like an umbrella. Just as he completed that action the block shattered into a million different pieces, and fell to the earth as if they were nothing but simple hail. Ryu assessed the situation.

Fire familiars that can change form, earthquakes, forming ice blocks out of clouds? These are all alchemy related, and as far as I know there is only one person in heaven, or hell that possesses that power. No...it can't be? I mean I have only heard rumors, but. Could they be true? Time to address this threat, Ryu thought.

Ryu looked up to the sky, and finally acquired his target.

"Hey you up there, I realize that practicing your techniques are fun and all, but that sort of behavior is better suited for the training grounds. So why don't you come explain to me why you are putting the lives of innocents in danger? I am very anxious to hear.", Ryu said in a volume that could be heard by the strange man in the sky.

Ryu takes a stance.

Sangoran gets swept up by the incoming angel and is carried just about 20 feet from the quake. The angel sets him down and begins screaming into the sky. Sangoran stares at the man in confusion trying to figure out if he is crazy or trying to lure someone out of hiding. With the utmost paranoia racing through his body, tightly clutching the scythe in his hands, his heartbeating in his ears, and sweat pouring down his face he notices a large shadow forming below them. He looks up to see the sky directly above them become covered in a block of ice. The Angel shouts something at Sangoran and he rushes up and quickly turns the cube into snow.

No way I am in debt to this guy, not like i'm not grateful or anything, i just can never get over either of those instances...never.

Giddion reaches the end of his path. He looks around, for at the end of his path was an abandoned town. With burnt buildings and Charred Grounds. Oda then speaks to Him once again.

"Now... The mission at hant takes Place In a different Time... I will Jump you over to this time period, where you will stay until you have finished... Or failed." Giddion Thinks to Himself about how a new time will effect him, or in any matter, How Oda Plans to do this "Time Transfer".

'Now... Stand in the Middle of the Town square... and Prepare for your Transport. DO NOT DO ANYTHING AS TRANSFER IS GOING THROUGH! I havent done this with a Human Soul before" Giddion Stands in one Place, Un-moving. A Dark Purple Flame surrounds Him. The flame Builds about 10 feet high, and wraps in a 5 foot radius.

In seconds, He is transported to a Much larger City. He looks at the large and reflective Buildings and just stares In awe, since he has not seen a "Palace" as large as these High Towers.

"Master... What is my target...?" He awaits an answer from Oda, But he does not respond.

"Thats why Im here, You stupid kid" This voice, was that of his inner Demon.

"I know who and what Were lookin for, so Gimmie control for awhile! Until we finish at least!" He says this with a synister Chuckle. Giddion Scoffs and shakes his head No. He then begins to wander the city and spies evidence of Land Temperment.

]"Yep... There was some kind of fight going on here... and the two fighting... Have an Extreamly High amount of spirit energy.... They Might be worth some extra fun here!!! But that will wait until we find the Target for Master Nobunaga... Follow this Fissure, Lets see who may be at the end of this Jagged Crevasse! Giddion Follows the fissures, Until a HUGE amount of collective Spiritual Pressures were A short ways ahead of Him. He Hides behind a Small Building and spies 3 figures in the distance, 2 on the ground, and one in the air. He waits and watches to see what will unfold in front of him.

Azmot did not respond, nor did he acknowledge the presence of another new arrival. As the Angel came Closer, Azmot surprisingly released clouds from all over his body, creating an effective smoke screen. He Constantly pumped out the Clouds in a sphere like fashion, forcing the opponent to near if he wanted a visual.

The outside of the Sphere got thicker as Azmot moved the clouds against itself so that it was hollow, making it impossible to see inside without peeking in. The walls, though not solid, were very thick, approximately 8 feet thick to be exact. Azmot awaited for his opponent to move, attempting to lure him inside the sphere.

Low rolling clouds actually existed inside the sphere, giving a very ominous effect for those who entered.

Ryu dashed blindly into the sphere (not using his full speed). This was new to him. Ryu rarely dealt with combat, but the only thing on his mind was stopping the other angel before he brought harm to innocents. As he entered the sphere he paused, as if trying to determine whether or not he could dissipate the clouds that were limiting his vision. He flapped his wings vigorously in an attempt to clear it away, but for every bit he cleared, more rolled in. Ryu slowly became resolved to the fact that he was going to be fighting blind, but maybe he could manage this, Ryu tried to focus more on his other senses rather than his sight. He could hear the distortion in the air from his opponents sourupowa, he could feel it emanating, he had to focus on these if he hoped to gain victory.

Suddenly it snapped. Ryu dashed to the side, in a zig-zagging pattern until he was face to face with his opponent. The sheer look of determination in Ryu's eyes was enough to cripple most opponents, but this man seemed unaffected. This was going to be a challenge indeed

As soon as Azmot heard the "Swoosh" if the cloud Sphere, he turned the outside to ice by compressing it. Now, lest very tiny air holes inside the structure, they were Isolated within a space little bigger than a bedroom. The Sphere, though now solid, was kept afloat through Jetting clouds through holes in the infrastructure. However, barely a fraction of a second after he did so, his opponent came face to face with him. A slight jar was aroused from his mind, fearing an instant attack, but realized it didn't come.

With the new found constitution that he could see his opponent, Azmot reared back his fist in a punch. Clouds shot out of his elbow, propelling the punch forward to hit his opponent's gut with an impacted force. Then, Azmot attepmted to block any incoming high attack by crossing his arms over his head and kneeling. This, though blocked many attacks, left him open for attacks on his back.

Ryu was blow for blow with the other angel, and unless he could find a weakness in his defense, he knew this fight was going nowhere. The punch had definitely jarred him, but he did not falter, he could not falter. Only when the other angel crossed his arms above his head to block a downward attack, did he see his opening. Ryu used the air currents around him to warp behind his enemy where he gripped his shoulders, and sent a jarring kick into his spine, sending him flying. Afterwards he proceeded to give a follow-up blow. Before his blow made contact his opponent swung around, and blocked. This shocked Ryu but did not throw him off guard, he had realized beforehand that this was not going to be an easy fight. Ryu wondered why his opponent was not showing him his full strength, he knew this was only a test, and that angered him more. He could not let his anger blind him. Ryu was starting to notice a flaw in his defenses, he had to use his speed to his advantage. Ryu made a mad dash in an attempt to confuse his opponent, and planned to exploit a weakness when his enemy blocked. Ryu swung a left side sword strike, the man blocked it, Ryu saw his opportunity and took it. He swung around to attack him from the back.

As he watched the unfolding battle before him, Sangoran looked in amazement as the 2 went as close has hand-to-hand combat. During which time Sangoran notices on of his peripheral a man stading in the shaodws of a nearby building, leaning against it, watching the two angels as well. He ponder's the thought of if he himself was another angel or a threat but realized as a shot of pain from his leg reminded him he was of no use right now. He continued to stare at this man, who had wielded two swords in his band and had on imperial style armor, talk to himself as if he was insane. Then the thought of another person in the shadows was around considering his same thoughts of the angel. In mid thought, Sangoran laid down on the ground and stared into the sky at the two angels and took in a deep breath and exhaled.

This is going to be a /really/ long night. I better get some damn warheads after this is over.

Giddion Notices the Other man Laying on the ground. He looks up at the cloud formation breafly, and looks back at the leaning Man. Giddion Comes out from the shadows and walks tward the Clout formation.

"Well, at least we know where the spiritual Pressures are comming from... Now what or who is that kid? Giddion walks over to the Damaged man. He looks down at him and Speaks.

"You... You seem to be capable to fend for yourself when the time comes, But now you seem weakened... You must go. An extreamly damaging battle is commencing between the two up there. I Suggest You get out of here. Giddion Begins to walk away when The Demon Says

"You know... Im pretty sure He is the Kid that Master Oda sent us after... Why diddnt you kill Him?

Because... We dont even Know if he was the right target.... It does not Matter... The way of the samurai is to fight Honoribly. I will not attack a Wounded warrior. No matter If he is my target or not. I will fight Him when he is Ready to fight back" Giddion Then Begins to Wall jump from building-side to Building-side Until He reaches the roof of a large Building.

"I can tell your Nervous Kid. Your outta your element, Your earthbound and they can fly. Your just not feeling right about this are ya? Giddion Looks down upon the Cloud formation.

"Your right. But In my Honor as a samurai, and our code says we cannot run from a battle. No matter How experienced we are. Even Lord Nobunaga at one point fought by the code before His Descent into the demon ranks... Lets just wait until its our turn

Azmot watched as the mysterious Angel flew to his back, attempting to strike his weak point. When the boy was right at his back, Azmot unleashed a burst of clouds in that direction, the speeds past gale force winds. The clouds poured from every inched of his back, completely outwards.

Unfortunately, with that much force, the Ice sphere started to crack, becoming weaker until a back-sized hole was in it's upper-hemisphere. However, this should have deflected an attack coming at his backside, most likely knocking the boy off balance.

Regardless of where the boy was, Azmot touched his hand to the ground and waited for another attack, a slight sweat dripping from his nose due to the high humidity in the sphere. Thanks to the whole, however, much of the pressure was reduced and he could now see clearly.
