The Lonely Road (Open)

Standing tin the vast expanse of the Badlands, Azmot sat on a high pillar, his sword drawn and resting across his lap. All was calm in the Kami-forsaken place, no significant wildlife living inside the destroyed plains. Th divine Angel was not specifically called here for an given reason, just a pressure that he felt seemed to focus on the very earth of the world. He was sure Demons and Angels alike would be drawn to it, but that was what he was hoping for. After all, even the un-living need to exercise.

Suddenly, a shape shot out of the corner of his eye, going at almost hyper-active speeds. A wisp of air shot out at all directions, along with the sound of hard rock crumbling under an extreme force. Leaping with great might, Azmot barely got up before he was off the ground, soaring towards the area of mystery at high velocity. Hitting his peak, he drove on, attempting to get there before whatever was there was contaminated with the outside environment.

Landing at a graceful speed, Azmot looked out to see a 15 radius crater, a big silver pile of goop in the middle. With caution, he placed his hand on the hilt of his blade, which was sheathed mid-flight. Upon examining the mass of silver-stuff, he decided that it was a metal asteroid that metal upon contact with the atmosphere. But why was there not shooting star? Disregarding it, Azmot sheathed his blade and turned around.

After he left the crater, he made a call to HQ. "Can you give me some info on the Badlands? Particularly the history of melted silver in a large crater?" Azmot sounded, speaking through a Sourpowa link straight to Heaven.

"Of course." The sound of typing filled the com, quickly replaced by a gasping individual rushing to tell Azmot something. "I want you to stay there, just stay ther!"

"Why should I?" Azmot asked, curious. He was slightly worried about what could make the operator so exasperated.

"I'm sending back-up. Hm?" The operator asked, then quickly answered Azmot's question. "You, my friend, have found a Worm Demon's nest. This little rascal is the only of it's kind, mainly because it ate the rest of it's kind. It is called Galma. This Demon has the power to make hallucinations and illusions on a whim, but it never resorts to fighting. It always makes you pass a test. If you pass, you will find a very powerful ally, but if you fail, you're eaten. I'm sending a message out to Angels and Demons alike, for this is something that we can share as allies, this once. I'm afraid we might not be able to solve it without there help."

Azmot stepped back away a bit more, waiting for people to show. When he felt like he was ready, he would order his "Gang" to dive in with him.

As Azmot waited for about 10 minutes, a portal opened up from above, it was white and moved around. Its surface rippled as a figure fell through.

Narora landed with grace as he looked around the area. He walked up to Azmot, and nodded to him, then looked at the object he was sent here to help get.

"A Worm Demon ne?" He asked, voice stern. "Seems like it's the last, if what they told me is true." He spoke.

(Seeaing as only 3 people Rp, we'll have to use an NPC each.)

Another portal opened and out stepped Soutosh. The man was large. Muscle rippled across him as he walked toward them. He nodded, brown hair shaped like.... a ducks ass. On his back was a large blade colored red. A fire type Sourusodo it seemed.

Narora smiled at him. "Soutosh, nice to see ya." Soutosh looked at him and nodded at him. "Narora." he spoke in monotone. He looked to Azmot and nodded again.

The boy had been wandering these scarred lands in order to find a calm place to train - but the trouble was that this place was COMPLETELY barren. There wasn't even your occasional durable rock that won't crumble under a single shot. Sighing in slight disappointment, he crossed his arms, and looked around himself.

"You're awfully nervous, Daisuke. A warriors strength, can only be fully drawn when he's calm." Deragon always tried to calm him slightly down. It usually worked, just not this time. Sighing once more, the body ignored the overly proud knight.

It was then that he saw two figures standing to the left of him. One of them had strange green hair, one he couldn't determine, the other, silver...

It couldn't be a freak accident, right? Curious to check it out, the young demon walked up to the angels from their right. Doing a short wave, he talked loud enough for them to hear.

"Hey... is that you... Nii-san?" The boy wandered around them, to get a better view from the front. It really was Narora! His serious facade quickly faded, and he walked up to them without worrying about the other angels.

"What a strange coincidence to find you here! Something...the matter...?" he noticed the nest, and immediatly sobered. He had gotten himself riiiiight into trouble.

"... Well, don't worry this time, Nii-san! Whatever this is, I'll now be able to protect you." smiling youthfully, he looked up to the angel, and quickly afterwards greeted the others with a wave and bow aswell. He was polite afterall.

Azmot watched as a demon appeared along with Narora, a High-Class Angel. Azmot had also heard rumors about Narora's... emotional outbursts, similar to ones he had before. Azmot made a mental note to ask him about it later.

Getushi, a Low captain Angel, flew in on snow white wings, wearing a silk robe and his Soursodo cased behind his back. The sword was extremely long, touching the ground even whilst sheathed, and got bigger during battle.

"Getushi," Azmot said, turning towards him ", glad that you can make it. Now," Azmot started once again, looking at the 4 other members who had arrived. Glancing at Daisuke, Azmot spoke. "Demon. You ARE a demon, right? Well, don't try anything with this mission, got it? I'm quite sure you're all informed anyway, but I'll give you the basics."

Clearing his throat, Azmot turned toward the metallic liquid pool, speaking. "Alright, this pool of silver is the entrance to a very strange world, one created by the Twisted imagination of the Worm...Demon... Galma, a gluttonous beast with the power to create whatever he wants. And we are the lucky few who get to destroy it. Are you guys Ready?" Azmot waited for a response, seeing what the others thought about the situation.

Narora laughed happily, placing a hand on his Sourusodo. "I sure am! This is gonna be awesome!" He almost yelled out, but kept his voice low.

Soutosh next to him nodded in agreement, but kept quiet. He had long sense greeted Getushi, along with Narora, with a nod.

Narora turned to observe the large Silver object. "Seems powerful, but I think we can handle it."

Posting Order:

Not really knowing what the boy got himself into, he smiled towards the group. Azmot showed an obvious dislike towards demons, which is what Daisuke expected to happen. Moving himself to face Azmot, he answered:

"Yes, I'm a demon. Not a powerful one, but one of the good ones. You can ask Narora-san to be sure."

Looking towards where Azmot's view shifted, he saw the metallic looking portal. It astounded the boy to hear that a powerful demon rested inside - one that devours. One that creates whatever it wants. Feeling a slight wave of fear, the boy shuddered at the thought to fight something this mighty.

As he looked towards the many angels that were prepared to battle, he also gained confidence. Daisuke slowly unsheated Doragon, but kept his edge pointed to the ground. This would be a harsh test for him, but he was willing to try.

Looking at Narora, then Azmot, he said:

"I'm ready. No big worm demon is going to scare me."

"Alright then," Azmot started, turning towards the silvery pool. Taking out Eclipse, the Angelic youth dove in, entering a sleep-like state. However, this was a rouse, for he awoke immediately, oddly refreshed.

Rubbing his eyes, Azmot noticed that Eclipse was gone, not anywhere on his... body? Focusing, the green-haired misfit noticed that he seemed heavier than before, and the air seemed warmer. Allowing his eyes to adjust, Azmot realized that he was sitting in a poorly lit room, a fire the only source of light in the warmed room.

A newspaper sat on a wooden Table beside him, along with a shot of freshly poured Scotch. The ink on the paper was terrible, as if it was typed on a rickity typewriter. This piqued Azmot's interest, so he picked up the paper with arms that were longer than his, and also more masculine.

What the hell? He thought, though even his thoughts seemed different, Older. The Paper Read: June 6th, 1891. Strange Crater found in the outskirts of town. Police have ordered the best detective, Sherlock Holmes to investigate it's meaning, On his Birthday no less...

The report went on. 1891? Was this the past? Azmot tried to remember what he had done last, how he could have arrived here. Then it hit him.

The worm demon.

This was all an illusion created by that slimy beast, yet there was no way to dispel it without finding it first. Worried, Azmot wondered what he had become. Standing up, he quickly moved his large body to a mirror, finding only a plump man to look back at him. His name tag bore no first name, only "Wattson."

Wait, was he the Wattson? He certainly looked the role, but he had to be sure. Looking by at the wall, Azmot noticed a pathway out made of glass, dirty yet usable.

The window was laced with fog, but one thing was clear outside the window, a sign a ways away outside. Getting closer, Azmot read it's inscription. "221b Baker Street". It sounded familiar, but Azmot could not place it's spot in history. Someone famous lived on that street, but he could not remember.

Azmot wondered were the others were, and realized that they had probably become figures in this time too. The address became all too apparent to his aged mind. He was in Sherlock Holmes house.

Scurrying, Azmot looked for the room that this legend lay, and the humble "Holmes" etched door was a good sign. Opening it, the Chubby man found the body of Sherlock Holmes to be awake, and dressed as well. "Is it you, Sherlock?" Azmot asked, staying in Character in case it was in fact Sherlock Holmes and not Narora or Daisuke.


(One of you be Sherlock, and the other someone famous from this time frame. Or a Police officer, W/e)

The door slammed open up front, the sound echoing about the house.

"Why the hell am I dressed like this!?" A voice screamed as Narora walked into the room, but he didn't look like Narora. He was dressed like a police, behind him Soutosh was also dressed in it, but for a big man, it looked like the suit struggled to hold in all the muscle.

"If i wanted to be anything, it wouldn't be a Police officer!" Narora cried anime tears.

The boy awoke, and a big man was standing infront of him. Shocked to see a sudden stranger, he yelped loudly and took a few steps backwards staring around where he had landed. The demon seemed to be wearing a trench coat, and some other things that he didn't even understand what they were SUPPOSED to be. Like a pipe. What the hell?

He was suddenly taller, and seemed to have grown into an adult. As he looked up at Azmot again, he said:

"... Who the hell is Sherlock, and who are you?" He didn't even realise that he was somebody he previously met. It would take a little while for his childish mind to be changed.

Seeing suddenly two people storm in, complaining that they're police officers, baffled the boy even more. What was going on...?

"Alright you... three... or however many you are! My name is Daisuke Kirai, and you'd better believe it! Now tell me what's going on!!" He yelled at them, with his mature voice. Still confused, and not aware of this time.

"I believe," Getushi's voice sounded, yet he was nowhere in sight ", that we have already fallen into the demon's web of lies." The voice said, originating from Azmot's right.

"Getushi?" Azmot asked, poking around the room until he found a frowning mask, made of a delicate marble, of what seemed to be... a mold of Getushi's face!

"Aye, it is I. Based on how you reacted, I can only guess that it is you, Azmot?" the un-moving mask said, as if a speaker were attached to the mouth. Digging in, he found none. "Strange," Getushi said ", I feel none of that, yet I know what you are doing. I can see, but all is darkness... I will investigate farther."

With that, the Angelic brain grew silent.

Azmot turned toward Sherlock/Daisuke. "It's quite obvious, is it not?" Azmot began, noticing a slightly delicate accent. "It is us, Daisuke. Azmot, Getushi... And I believe these are the loyal angel's of heaven, Narora and Soutosh." Azmot said after he realized that he had deducted that on his own.

"Actually, it seems that we inherit traits from the people we are portraying. That means Those two will have enhanced Fighting skills, while we, namely you, will have great powers of deduction."

Remembering the newspaper, Azmot turned and hauled his fat body until he returned with the crudely inked paper. "My name is Watson, And you are Sherlock Holmes." The Angel said, throwing the paper to Daisuke.

It landed in his lap, and with Sherlock Holmes' knowledge, telling them how we would get there in a world they only half knew would not be a problem.

Narora blinked. Looked to Soutosh and shrugged. They had known it was each other before they came here, having figured it out.

"Traits of who we are? I'm a cop.... so" He's eyes suddenly glazed over and he began to recite the memorized, England law out loud.

...which was to hard to understand to type up...

he stopped and took a deep breath. "ok, what the FUCK!?" he about yelled, but kept his voice low enough to stay in the room.

The man sighed a few times, having to work this all up first. So they were in a different world, and got pulled into bodies and knowledge that they didn't even know about. And, however the hell the demon was doing this, it seemed to strangely work. He got cut out of his thoughts when the newspaper landed on his lap. Interested into this clue of events, he read it and thought for a moment.

"... So, I'm Sherlock Homes. I've been ordered to investigate a crater in the outskirts... I believe that either way the... Demon is trying to get us into something, or that this event belongs into this world. Either way, we'll have to go there. Pronto, too, mates.

Standing up and putting the newspaper into his oversized pocket, Daisuke suddenly grabbed to his pipe in his chest pocket, putting it on, and smoked. It seemed to be a strange habit, and it happend out of his control. Subconciously. It seemed almost normal.

Pulling a breath on his pipe, he went through the crowd, and went towards the entrance of this house. He breathed out afterwards, and turned towards them.

"You all with me?"

"Of course." Azmot and Getushi said in unison. Azmot, not wanting to loose his loyal friend, strapped the mask to his arm. This way, he could move without the fear of dropping him.

The chubby man followed Daisuke towards the door, thinking about how they would fight the demon when they found it.

No Soursodo... Do we have our Sourpowa? Azmot thought, attempting to sense the groups power. Hmm. It's like we have two different energies. One is normal, then the other is... 0? "Watson" thought questionably. Will there techniques even work? Can they even fight the demon in their human form? Azmot would simply have to rely on Daisuke's enhanced Brian.

Narora seemed to be trying to use his Gates, but the most he succeeded in doing was turn his face red.

'its like my power's locked off...' he said/asked. He got no response, so Akasha was not in his head. 'she's not here?.. no, maybe she can still here me, she just can't talk back. My Sourupowa's been sealed off...' He sighed.

He followed the other two quickly, Soutosh following as well.

Noticing that the gang all followed his lead, he looked with a serious face infront, and stepped outside. The entire place seemed on one side completely outlandish, and on the other side, familiar. London in its early stages. Horsecars, loads of people, and even some who greeted him as "Sherlock". The man shock his head, and concentrated on the events at hand.

Seeing a large, empty horsecar (Don't know the official word) drive near them, the man suddenly went infront of it and yelled for it to stop. The drivers actually stopped, recognizing Sherlock, and motioned for him to come up. Daisuke immediatly went up, and talked.

"Excuse me, gentleman, but we need someone who would drive us to the outskirts of this place. Our previous vehicles have been stolen, and we're after a strange mystery. Would you be willing to help the police?" Doing multiple polite gestures, the driver nodded, and allowed him and the others in. He sat down, and finished:

Much obliged, gentleman."

As soon as everyone had taken a seat, Daisuke couldn't help but grin at himself. He was usually shy, but like this, he had no trouble talking to a stranger. And this was a lucky coincident aswell.

"Better with a horseride then on foot, right gentleman?" He talked into the group. But his face grew suddenly serious.

"So then. Our weapons are gone, our Sourupowa is locked, and we're basically defenseless." he said this, before anyone said that. The boy seemed to have figured it out behind their backs, unbeknowingst that Azmot and Narora already knew.

"When we actually meet this Worm Demon, then it'll be a hell to fight him like this. Infact, we'll most likely get us killed in aprox... 23 seconds. Considering we're multiple people." The demon talked in a way someone would talk about the weather. Brainstorming, he continued:

"I see barely a chance. But either way we'll manage to murder it with weapons from his timeline, or we'll manage to turn its magic back on itself, return out power, make it defenceless... There are multiple choices as to this, but how one would actually execute it, that's still a blur to me. I need more time..." Grumbling, he looked stern forward, pulling on his pipe again.

By now, they were close to leaving the city.

Azmot followed the rambling demon, in part disgust that he was a vital role to this operation, and that he simply wouldn't shut up. On and on and on he went, babbling about retrieving our powers, reversing them, some way to kill-

Wait... wasn't that operator saying something about that? Azmot thought, recalling the words to him.

"... never resorts to fighting" he had said, giving Azmot a much-needed clue.

"Dai-... I mean Sherlock. I believe I have a viable piece of information. The 'worm' will not resort to fighting... so maybe we just have to capture it? Also, Worm Demon's lay larva in these parasitic worlds, right? Feeding off people's confusion... and skin."

Azmot whispered these words to Daisuke, as not to scare the cab driver. He made sure Narora was able to hear, too, but barely audible. Last thing they needed was a crazy driver gone desperate.

Narora hummed, as he sat back in his chair, having been looking out the window. "I seem to not have gotten any kind of knowledge, but the best i can contribute, is that I still have this..." He reached into a pocket and pulled out some kind of pill.

"I don't know if it would still work, but it's suppose to restore Sourupowa when yours is out, it actually has Sourupowa stored in it. We might be able to use it, but this is my last one." He handed it to Sherlock for examination.

The man scoffed a little. This was a rather outragous situation. A demon worm, stuck in a world, no powers, Azmot on a tree, and the only physical chance they got were the pills that Narora just gave "Sherlock". Sighing, he looked straight forward. As they slowly reached the outskirts of town, the cab driver got to a hold. Nodding once, he gave the others the signal to step out, as it was impossible to drive there anymore. The road had gotten too rough.

"We're here. Now show us something, Worm Demon. No matter what it is, I can surely use it against you." Daisuke said, looking serious around to find anything out of place. He had trouble, and thus looked towards his "teammates". Even he was dumbfounded for the moment.
