Flight of the Angels

Ryu soared over the city, perching on rooftops every now and again to observe suspicious activity. This time things were a bit queer as he circled an area that was split down the middle by a river crossing. A little girl sat unnoticed by the general public. Ryu immediately recognized the sourupowa emanating from the girl. He glided down, and landed with a slight tap as his toes touched the earth. Ryu casually walked over and sat next to the little girl's spirit.

"Hi sweetie, are you lost?", Ryu said in a soothing tone. He could see the tears welling up in her eyes.

"he, swim...that was all it was supposed to be. The water got faster, and I got pulled down.", She burst in to a full out cry.

"Hey, hey, hey...Don't worry about it. Tell ya what, do you want to see the streets of wonder, places where it is always the temperature you like?" Ryu said. The girl looked at Ryu wiping the tears from her eyes, and nodded her head. Ryu stood up and placed his hand out.

"Asmo...Deus...Saedo, The skies...The Gods...The end", Ryu said passing his hands in a ceremonial nature. The spirit began to glow and float upwards.

"T...thank you", the little girl seemed to say as her spirit drifted away to the heavens. Ryu began to walk now, uncapping his drink and taking a few swills. He noticed another being walking down the street. A silver colored hair, and a power that seemed similar to his not that long ago, surely this was an angelic presence. Ryu resolved to go find out this beings true nature, but not before having a little fun. Lets see what you can do kid. Ryu took to the air, and retrieved a small item from his pocket. He held two capsules in his hands, and cast them into the water. Once the capsuled came into contact with the liquid they exploded. Three snarling creatures emerged from the water, each containing a power about equal to a low-captain class angel. They jumped in front of the angel, and encircled him. You're move kid

As Tetsuo noticed the water creature about to attack he got ready to fight them but noticed something familiar about them

"oh yeah these creatures been awhile since I fought them " Tetsuo began to fight the water creatures but with everytime Tetsuo landed a hit the water creatures healed quickly and cutting Tetsuo to the point of death

" This can't be the end of my journey not here not now " Tetsuo continued to fight and was able to channel light and darkness into his sword being able to kill the water creatures that was when Tetsuo looked up in the air and noticed his old comrade from when he was in heaven
" its been a while ryu see your still following gods orders " Tetsuo got ready for a battle that would probably cost him his life .

Ryu chuckled as he noticed a long lost ally. He placed his hands behind his head and stretched.

"Tetsuo?, Well now I knew I recognized that Sourupowa. And for the record I follow Kami's orders as faithfully as any angel should. I am one of her Captains so loyalty is expected", Ryu resumed a relaxed pose, and tok another large sip of his drink, finishing it. He tossed the bottle towards a trash can, and with a little persuasion from the wind, coaxed it in. He proceeded to land, and walked up towards Tetsuo. He held out a vial of elixir and handed it to him.

[color=cyan]"Here That should help with those cuts."[color] Ryu heard a roar in the distance, and a crashing sourupowa rained down on him. Ryu stood unfaltered by the pressure, but he could begin to see sweatlines form on Tetsuo's brow, it was affecting him.

"Get ready kid. I would drink that quick, we got ourselves a bit of a fight on our hands". The sourupowa grew stronger as the creature approached.

" Thanks " Tetsuo took the elixir and drank it in a hurry to get ready for his next fight.

" what do you think it could be huh " As Tetsuo asked Ryu the creatures Sourupowa was getting closer and stronger then before

As Tetsuo got ready and noticed his Sourupowa shaking as if it was about to relieve it name but tetsuo knew he didn't have enough time to wait so he took his fighting stance

" lets see if your skills haven't gotten to rusty my friend "

Tetsuo wiped the sweatlines from his brow and waited for this creature to show itself so he could get back home and train harder

" The sooner this beast shows up the better cause earth has been boring "
As the creature appoarched Tetsuo was ready to leave earth behind and return home and be welcomed back into the gates of heaven

Ryu smirked, and unsheathed Kazenoken from its Scabbard. He swung it downwards into a fighting stance, then stepped back.

"I would worry about my skills kid, mine have been honed pretty damn sharp lately. Be ready though I want to see how you deal with this one.". Finallly the beast was upon them, it looked like a giant grotesque spider. Ryu suddenly realized that this thing wasn't a normal hollow.

"Have fun kid watch out for the cero, Gillian like this one tend to fire them alot." Ryu suddenly felt his mind being touched by Kami herself. Ryu...what are you up to?. Kami projected into his mind. He defied an order from Isaiah, Isaiah is a dumbass. I am hoping he has not gotten too astray that he does not wish to redeem himself. So I want to make a bet., Ryu replied. Go on., Ryu could hear the amusement in her voice. If he dies, I bring back an extra few danishes from the bakery for you, and If he wins, You admit him back as an angel. Before you say no, I know how difficult it is to recreate the bakers recipe, and he is near death. I promise if I lose I will strive to send him to you first. Ryu adorned a smirk as he knew these conditions would pass. I accept, lets see how this turns out. The hollow closes in and the fight ensues.

As Tetsuo was getting ready for his fight against the Gillian
" this should be a good challenge for me " Tetsuo charged at the gillian hoping to beat it . As the Gillian fired the cero tetsuo was lucky enough to dodge it.
" looks like this is going to be a fun fight"
As Tetsuo started to attack the gillian at its feet he noticed all it did was make the gillian mad and was about to fire another cero
" this thing has got to have a weakness"
Tetsuo suddenly recalled a slight chatter he had heard years ago while still under the leadership of Isaiah. His eyes sparked as the idea rushed into his head while the gillian was still charging its cero in an attempt to destroy Tetsuo.
" its the mask thats is its weakness "
Realizing that the mask was its weakness Tetsuo jumped toward the gillian masks hoping to at least wound it before it fired off the cero

Ryu watched in amusement as the Gillian fired its cero at Tetsuo.

"I suggest you dodge this or rather become fried chicken." Ryu said. Suddenly another sourupowa is felt in the surrounding area. This one is strange...its much stronger than the Gillian, but still Just enough for me to have fun today. Whaddaya say to a new bet Kaze? Ryu projected the last thought towards his sourusodo. To be honest, this seems interesting....go on Ryu smirked and reached out to link with his sourusodo once more. I am gping to fight this new opponent, and win.....without any assistance from your blade or your speed boost. Kazenoken hummed before replying Hmmmmm....Strictly melee you say. I like it. No techniques either. And if you win by killing it with its own weapon you get brownie points. Ryu pondered this for a moment. Agreed. Well time for me to introduce myself. The sourupowa was finally upon them. A man with greenish hair and a trenchcoat appears before them.

"Hmh strange seeing an angel here, usually you all tend to stick to the higher planes. Nonetheless this is my territory and you have crossed it. Any last words before you die" Ryu began to laugh hysterically as the threats didn't worry him at all. The beings sourupowa was a mere 1700 and Ryu could counter that easily. Ryu unleashed his sourupowa and slowly began to walk towards the intruder.

" Hey kid finish up quickly you gotta watch this one."

Tetsuo places his sword in the center of the cero and started to split the cero in two

" I won't die here I am going to win " Tetsup managed to disturb the cero's pattern and destroy it and was able to cut the gillian from the head down splitting it into two

" how weak I was hoping to have at least some fun "
Tetsup turned to ryu's fight]" this should interesting "Tetsuo sat down and decided to watch his old friend fight against this new opponent

" Yo ryu hurry up and finish this so that way I can get back to my house "
Tetsuo turned to his blade and saw it still shaking and thought to himself
" why is my blade shaking " Tetsuo then turned back to ryu to watch his fight

Ryu's opponent started to shake. Ryu just calmly laughed and pushed his sourupowa to he max 2500. That made the demon shudder before recomposing himself. Ryu noticed the beads of sweat drizzling down his opponent's face.

" You look Tired, want me to let you take a break. Being a daft son of a bitch that just casually rushes into any situation can be pretty tiring, or so I hear."

The demon became flushed with anger, and in his blind rage attacked. Lunging forward the demon made several slashes with his sword, but none to any avail. Ryu dodged each as if they were pebbles thrown by a child. Ryu disappeared, and reappeared in front of the demon before giving him a hug and disappearing again. This time however he reappeared behind the demon and kicked it downwards. After recovering ,in the air before slamming into the concrete, the demon started screaming furiously.

" I'm sorry that the hug did not make you nice so the kick was to make you realize that it didn't matter, Either way I can kill you without an issue."

The demon started to chuckle.

"HAHAHAHAHA! You're good kid, but not good enough! OPEN UP GATE ICHIBAN!!!!"

Ryu just stood there even though the gate opening pushed the demon's sourupowa above his.

"You're pretty new to this aren't you, break open gate one ICHIBAN ACTIVATE!!!"

Ryu laughed maniacally as his sourupowa burst once more.

"If I had just said the same thing as you it would just seem like copying"

Ryu opened up a mental link with his sourusodo. Do I get a cookie if I kill him with one of his body parts? Ah screw it nevermind that would be too gory for the new kid to see. Uhh ya think!!! Ryu chuckled and zoomed away towards the demon. He dips to the side to avoid a downwards slash by the demon. He disappears and reappears behind the demon with his forearm around its throat and his hand on the top of its head.

"Sleep now"

Ryu quickly pulls his hand and arm in opposite directions, snapping the demon's neck and killing it instantly. Ryu lowers his sourupowa back to normal and lands as the demon's body crashes into the earth.

"Let's go kid Kami wants to have a chat"

Tetsuo saw the demon's body crashing to earth
" that was a short fight huh ryu "
As Tetsuo got up to start walking back to his house he stopped and said
" need a favor ryu "Tetsuo then placed his sourupowa is its case and looked behind him " tell kami I said whats up "
Tetsuo continued walking back to his house so he could sleep after fight the gillian so he would need time to restore his energy

Ryu sped in front of Tetsuo and grabbed him by the collar before dragging him back.

"Nuh-uh you are coming with me kid. You have been reinstated. When Kami says come, you come tail wagging. Hold on this is gonna be a bumpy ride."

Ryu disappears with Tetsuo in hand, and arrives at a strange circle panel in a lustrous white and gold castle.

"Here ya go Kami. Fresh from the WOTL our very own Tetsuo Hawejima in the flesh. Ta-da."

Kami looks at Tetsuo intently before calling Ryu and Tetsuo into council. She tells Ryu that he is gong to play advocate for Tetsuo in the readmission trial. However Tetsuo must first give an opening statement.
