[Demon] Daisuke Kirai

Element: Fire and Darkness. (If Darkness doesn't work, go for fire. I simply thought that, due to Daisuke having gone bonkers and submitting to Natsuki, it'd make sense for atleast Natsuki to have Darkness related powers. If not, tell me, I'll buy the Item eventually)

Personality: Daisuke is usually friendly, ready to help, but shy. He has trouble talking to strangers, and especially to angels. (As, technically, they're his enemy.) He wouldn't want to harm anybody, and despises fighting. Due to his troubled life and afterlife, he tends to keep shut about what happend, and thus look like a shut-off boy. He wishes nothing else but the war to never come, and a friend to tell everything to. Although he is someone of few words (If he doesn't know them) he never means harm, and would help anyone in need, regardless of what they are. He's actually pretty lazy, and enjoys to take naps over a normal sleeping schedule.

There is just one problem to his personality. His life, and afterlife experiences made him grow mad in his mind, especially when the Hunger tried to reach him. Fending every bad portion away from his soul, it grew a form on its own and now rests as a second personality inside Daisuke.

This second personality, the TRUE demon in this relationship wants nothing but power and every angel to painfully die. He is a murderer and has no respekt towards anybody but himself. Although he's incredibly weak, (Due to his nice self never training) he wouldn't hold back on his words and get himself into trouble, even infront of Shini/Kami him/herself. Frankly, he doesn't care about his demon brethern either. They could all vanish for all he cares. Natsuki Kirai (This is how he calls himself) knows of Daisuke, whilst Daisuke does NOT know about Natsuki. In order to distance himself from the "nice pest" he gave himself a name and openely curses about Daisuke. Whilst he is an evil embodiement, he is still bound to what Daisuke feels, so if he highly cares for somebody, Natsuki would be forced to feel this aswell, and thus hindered to go all out in a fight.

Nightmares: He's afraid of The War actually starting, Angels (a little), the ones who are after him, being reminded of his past, and having to fight for his life. He hates fire, whilst Natsuki absolutely loves it. He's afraid to drown (Bad swimmer) and to be ever held responsible what he has done in his life.


History: Daisuke was born in poverty in a poor desert country. Life was hard, short, and with barely any food. Although that was the case, his parents always gave him what they had, just so he'd grow up happily and with barely a worry.

At his 8th birthday though, war spurred inside the country. A religios war. Each wanted to have the country for themselves, and made sure that the particpants of the other religion would "vasnish to hell forever." The kids from all around the place were kidnapped, including Daisuke, and were trained as childsoldiers to vage in the war themselves. The unfortunate children were drugged to fight, trained to kill, to know nothing more. Daisuke, who always had a rather weak will, did nothing but to give in to what he was subjected to, and started to mindless kill everyone who were ordered to kill. The fight left its scars though - Daisuke had an inner battle with what is wrong and what is right. The heavy influence of drugs, war and violent training caused his mind and personality to split. Natsuki was born. Natsuki's influence was still weak, and he couldn't think for himself yet, but Daisuke could feel his unleashed rage and hunger for power. In a confused rage, he wandered back to his parents, stared them right in the eye...

... And murdered them.

He broke afterwards out in tears... which could quickly replaced by a menacing and insane laughter. Returning to his captors, he started to mindlessly murder everyone in the camp. The generals, childsoldiers, civilists... It was a wonder Daisuke himself survived aswell. Thanks to the darkness of the night, he was barely seen. And hitting a small sized kid is hard.

Daisuke didn't return to his normal self. Even after he had killed everything that moved. He was drunk with the feeling of might.

The war in the country ended shortly afterwards. The outside countries, which were far stronger and richer, had intervented. The childsoldiers and families were dragged out of their country, and put into temporary homes to survive the coming months. Daisuke himself though... was sent to a special psychatric hospital for childsoldiers. He was therapied for days, weeks, months, YEARS. His rage had died down, but it seeked refuge inside his soul. It ate on his sadness, depression, and willess defense. Building a personality. Having no life, Daisuke lived in the hospital untill he was 14.

It all ended, on his 14th birthday.

Terrorists, who deem the children in the hospital as highly dangerous for society, stormed in and murdered every kid on sight. Daisuke got immediatly reminded of back then. The war. The training. His rage rose, the urge to kill, the sounds of screams and death ringing heavily in his ears. Untill his vision became black, and Natsuki awoke for the first time. Screaming in an insane laughter, he stole a weapon from the terrorists and murdered them violently. They were overwhelmed by the kids knowledge to fight, and had to succumb to his strength and accuracy. Unfortunatly, Natsuki didn't stop there. He continued to murder the nurses, the children, everyone. Causing a horrible bloodshed, it all ended...

Because when Daisuke returned to his senses, he was too shocked. Too willess to go on.

He commited suicide.

He was afterwards reborn in hell. It took him a while to mentally recover from everything, but willing to make a change, he took the test to become a demon. Succeeding, he was given the Mid-Lieutenant rank. He had a rather high amount of Sourupowa(Sorry if I spelt it wrong) but his control was whacky and poor. Thus, he started off low. As the real training was supposed tp begin though, including to find his Sourusodo, Daisuke was too scared and fled. For a while he was hunted, and was multiple times dragged back, but it all lessend quickly. New demons came who were willing and ready, so Daisuke was left alone. He still stays slightly paranoid, but he's happy that he's left alone.

So now, he's usually casually roaming Twilight Town, observing the lively plaza. Watching like a shadow - barely seen. Or not cared about. I mean, who'd care about a weak little demon?

Roleplay Sample:

Yawning loudly, a slight tear formed in the corners of Daisuke's eyes. He had just enjoyed a nap on one of the rooftops of Twilight Town. Stretching his arms and legs, while he was still with his back on the floor, he yawned once more. It took a few minutes for the boy to fully come back to his mind, and for the lazy feeling to pass. Sitting slowly up, some of his bones cracked, as he was in this position for quite a while. He rubbed first his eyes, then his hair. The boy stood up, and took in the never changing, slightly creepy air of Twilight Town. Below, people were still selling their items, merchants rather noisingly advertising for their wares.

Sighing once contently, he lied down on his belly, watching down from the roof. This was for most boring, but Daisuke was throughoutly content by simply watching everyone live their life's. The boy started to kick with his legs in the air, humming happily in the air. His good mood was quickly broken, once he saw a pretty high-grade angel walk through the crowd. He sensed the power he wielded, and shuddered in admiration and fear. Daisuke watched the proud angel - that is untill the angel actually shifted his head and looked straight at the young demon.

Letting out a surprised grunt, Daisuke immediatly crawled backwards and pressed himself against the floor. It was a pitiful hiding attempt, but the boy was too much in shock to think straight. He stayed in this pose for a while, squeezing his eyes closed to the point that tiny rimples appeared. Fortunatly the angel didn't follow, but instead minded his own business, sensing no threat towards the weak demon.

Sighing in relief after a minute, the demon stood up, and looked down at the crowd once more. The angel was gone, and at the same time, his fear faded aswell. Moving himself to the edge to the building, which is very close to a nearby one, he used the fireladder to slowly descent. Jumping down with a slight "thud", he collected himself quickly and moved out of the alley. Daisuke quickly found himself on the main street, the crowds passing by. Deciding to take a walk, he folded his arms behind his back, whistled a little, and casually followed the stream...
